Maryvale Revitilization - The focus of the project is to create opportunities to revitalize the suburban form and strengthen the sense of community while encouraging healthy living and eating for kids.
Camelback Colonnade - This strip mall revitilization proposal encourages future connectivity via light rail transit and emphasizes mixed use development as a catalyst.
The Design School t-shirt competition was a creative, fun, exploration of composition, typography and visual appeal.
Atrazine - an intense research course led us to the discovery of multiple contaminants in our water and their associated 'story'.
Hand Rendering - this modern courtyard design was hand rendered using copic markers and prismacolor pencils.

About Me

JOéL CARRASCO has received a Bachelors of Science in Landscape Architecture at California Polytechnic University, Pomona and is in his final year pursuing Concurrent Masters degrees in Urban Design and Landscape Architecture at Arizona State University. He also has had the opportunity to work several internships and teach as a teachers assistant for a diverse range of classes. He is eager to collaborate with creative designers and thinkers on projects that can catalyze change in our urban environments.
